Digital Delivery
Hilltown Press sells digital books only. There are no physical goods to ship. When you complete a purchase, you receive your book electronically — typically within 60 seconds.
What You Receive
After a successful purchase:
- Order confirmation email sent to the email address you provided at checkout. This email contains download links for your files.
- Download access on the order-received page immediately after payment completes.
Your book typically comes in two formats: EPUB and PDF. EPUB works on most e-readers (Kindle, Kobo, iPad, phone apps like Apple Books and Google Play Books). PDF works on any device that can open a PDF. Both are DRM-free and yours to keep.
When Delivery Happens
Within 60 seconds of a successful payment, in most cases. Payment processing and email delivery both run through automated systems that typically complete within that window. During rare periods of heavy email queueing, delivery may take up to 15 minutes.
Email Not Arriving?
Check these, in order:
- Your spam or promotions folder — our email domain is relatively new. Some inboxes filter it on first contact.
- The email address you entered at checkout — did you type it correctly? You can check on the receipt page immediately after purchase.
- Your receipt page URL — bookmark this page if you got there; download links work from there even without the email.
If 15 minutes have passed and you still haven’t received anything, email contact@hilltownpress.com with the email address you used at checkout. We’ll look up your order and resend your download links manually.
Download Link Expiration
Download links in our emails remain active for at least 30 days after purchase. If you need to re-download your files later, email us and we’ll send you fresh links. There is no additional charge for this.
No Shipping, No Tracking, No Wait
Because we don’t ship physical books, there are no shipping charges, no carrier delays, no tracking numbers, and no delivery windows to watch for. You buy, you download, you read. That’s the whole transaction.
